Open Support

Open Support is a not-for profit, community service organisation committed to addressing the unmet and changing needs of the most vulnerable in our community.

Established in 1990 by the Sisters of Charity, Open Support’s core services focus on the following:

  • Enabling improved access to health care services – by providing free and affordable transport to health care services, as well as affordable accommodation close to health care services.
  • Reducing the impact of social isolation within the community – by providing home visits, companionship and social, court attendee and carer and patient support.
