Urogynaecology and Urodynamics

Associate Professor Bernard Haylen is an internationally renowned gynaecological urologist and pelvic floor (women’s bladder and prolapse) surgeon and researcher. He offers a substantial service in all aspects of urogynaecological assessment and management. He provides full urodynamic facilities to investigate incontinence, bladder overactivity and voiding dysfunction.


Dr Jennifer Dew, Dr Surya Krishnan and Dr Vince Lamaro specialise in advanced gynaecological laparoscopic and hysteroscopic (“keyhole” or minimally invasive) surgery. They all have extensive training and experience and have worked in the area since its inception or development. All surgeons have performed numerous procedures and offer a range of laparoscopic procedures including for endometriosis, pelvic pain, reproductive surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding, prolapse and pelvic tumours.

Robotic Surgery

Dr Vince Lamaro has expertise in robotic surgery and was one of the first in Australia to perform robotic gynaecological procedures.
