I am a specialist haematologist with extensive training and experience in both clinical and laboratory haematology. I am able to diagnose and treat all blood conditions including blood cancers, clotting and bleeding conditions, iron disorders, inherited blood diseases and blood transfusion management. I am also trained to interpret a variety of laboratory investigations important in the diagnosis and management of haematological conditions. I can prescribe chemotherapy and other appropriate therapies and have access to the latest clinical trials to assist with your care. I am also able to care for patients who require an autologous bone marrow transplant (where they are the donor for their stem cells). I believe strongly in collaboration with experts to make the best possible treatment decisions for you and frequently participate in multidisciplinary meetings with my colleagues while also engaging your GP and other specialists. I hold dual fellowships with the FRACP and FRCPA and have completed a bone marrow transplant fellowship and a Master of Philosophy (Medicine) investigating obstetric blood transfusion practice in NSW. I also have strong interests in teaching, research, incorporating the latest technologies into my practice and service development by running a regular rural haematology service in Griffith NSW.
