He is also Adjunct Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Notre Dame in Sydney. He is a senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Sydney and Director of St Vincent’s Bone and Joint, a private practice in St Vincent’s Clinic specialising exclusively in all aspects of adult hip and knee surgery. He is in the top 1% by volume of joint replacement surgeons in the country, and routinely performs the largest number of joint replacements at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital annually. He has served as an international editor to The Journal of Arthroplasty, and has been co-designer of numerous hip and knee implants currently in clinical use both in Australia and the US. He is a frequently invited speaker both in Australia and abroard at meetings focussed on hip and knee replacement surgery. He has many published articles and several book chapters in publication. He runs a very active post graduate fellowship programme in arthroplasty attracting many overseas applicants , and is actively engaged in teaching and training undergraduate students, and post graduate fellows in Orthopaedic Surgery. He has particular interest in computerised navigation and robotics for joint replacement, as well as a high volume practice in very difficult and complex revision hip and knee cases.
