Dr Richard Baker is a Consultant Psychiatrist at the USpace Clinic, St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney. Richard also has admitting rights to the USpace Young Adult Mental Health Service at St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney where he is a Visiting Medical Officer.

Richard undertook his medical specialist training in psychiatry at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, The Prince of Wales Hospital, The Black Dog Institute and The Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Richard has also completed subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and the NSW Institute of Psychiatry.

Richard holds a conjoint position with the School of Psychiatry at the University of New South Wales where he is involved in both teaching and research. He is a Staff Specialist for Justice Health.

Across his roles he provides psychiatric care for children, adolescents, young adults and their families. He has experience managing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, eating disorders, addiction, personality disorders and psychotic disorders.
