Dr David Ende has been working at St Vincent’s General and St Vincent’s Private hospitals for 18 years. He has previously completed a PhD in Cancer Medicine. He is a conjoint Senior lecturer at the University of Notre Dame.

My main interests include:

-Stone surgery – I have a particular interest in, and extensive experience with, laser stone surgery. This forms a large part of my surgical practice. I am also experienced in external shock wave lithotripsy. Metabolic evaluation of stone disease is also an important component of this work.

-Treatment of benign prostate enlargement/BPH using various modalities depending on individual patient characteristics and needs. I perform urodynamic evaluation where indicated in more complex cases.

-Robotic and Laparoscopic surgery cancer surgery

-Neobladder for bladder cancer

-Prosthesis surgery – artificial sphincters for male incontinence and penile prostheses for erectile dysfunction.

-Vas reversal
