Profile Dr Ravi Huilgol is a vascular and endovascular surgeon. He is Conjoint Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery at Notre Dame University Australia. Dr Huilgol graduated from the University of Sydney in 2000. He then went on to complete his vascular surgical training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. Dr Huilgol is the Chair of the NSW Vascular Surgical Society and the Supervisor of Vascular Surgery training at St Vincent’s Hospital. He has proctored, published and presented nationally and internationally, particularly regarding the treatment of complex aortic aneurysms. Dr Huilgol’s clinical interests encompass the assessment and treatment of the full spectrum of vascular disorders including both open and endovascular surgical techniques. His research interests include improving the results of lower limb endovascular intervention by combining drug-eluting and covered stents as well as researching and advancing the endovascular treatment of aortic pathology.
