Smoke Free Campus

Smoking and environmental tobacco smoke is a serious risk to your health and the health of others. St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney is a proud smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited within all areas of the hospital and its grounds including all entrances and outdoor areas. Electronic cigarettes are also prohibited.

Patients who smoke will be assessed by nursing staff and where suitable will be offered free nicotine replacement therapy during their admission. Patients who do not wish to undergo nicotine replacement therapy will be asked to sign a waiver that advises St Vincent’s Private is unable to provide supervision and care to patients who leave the hospital grounds to smoke.
