Redeveloping St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney is known for its outstanding patient care. However, the time has come for us to upgrade our infrastructure to allow us to continue to support this excellent care. The redevelopment of St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney involves the construction of a new 13 level building, the East Wing. This will provide additional beds, more consulting suites, additional operating theatres, a new rehabilitation in patient and out patient unit,a new ambulatory care centre plus many other much-needed facilities.

As part of this project, a complete refurbishment of the existing St Vincent's Private will also occur, creating more spacious rooms with bigger bathrooms and more natural light.

As a result the Private Hospital will gain 50 new beds, with more than 95 per cent single rooms.

How much will this project cost?

This is a $150 million project, with at least $40 million to be funded through philanthropic and community support.  With your assistance, you can help us to build Your Hospital of the Future.

Will I be inconvenienced during my stay in Hospital?

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney is known for delivering exceptional and compassionate care and this will not change during this redevelopment. You may be moved to different areas of the Private Hospital whilst building occurs, to ensure you continue to receive the highest standard of patient-centred care.

There will be signage to help guide you throughout the redevelopment and our friendly staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Parking will not be affected, with parking still available at the St Vincent’s Public Hospital and St Vincent’s Clinic.
